Dr. Jeff Van Meter has been a business owner for over 25 years and has built several businesses, including a four year foray into the franchised hair care industry.

He is a recovering Engineer, having graduated from Purdue University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

Then, evidently because he missed school so much, he went back for seven more years to get both a Masters in Theology and a Doctorate in Psychology.

He has served as a business and leadership consultant with Accenture, Cypress Leadership Development and the Lead Life Institute.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of Legacy Clinical Consultants, a leading provider of psychological services in the Chicago area.

His most recent startup is The Human Leader, where he teaches business owners and executives the power of being psychologically aware while leading their company, their family and themselves.

As a trusted advisor to numerous business owners, he’s been called the CEO’s Consigliere (con-sill-ee-yair-ray) due to his candid and insightful feedback on the challenges facing leaders in their organization.
